"Intended as a meditation on past experience, future potential, and the possible lives that could have been but thankfully did not come to pass, Stoner Lake in G acknowledges the heavy burden that nostalgia inflicts upon all of us – an accounting, of sorts, for the ghosts of the past. It is fitting that this work takes much of its core inspiration from the lyrics to Neil Peart’s lyrics from “Time Stand Still” – “I’m not looking back, but I want to look around me now.”

Taken in this context, Stoner Lake in G stands as an evolutionary hurdle in Nathan’s creative process and a setting of the stage for a new generation of growth in sound. We are honored to provide a home for this work in our ever-expanding catalog of noises, buzzings, and hums."
